We endeavour to source supplies of furniture from manufacturers utilizing a 'green' manufacturing process wherever possible.

Our manufacturing facility has gone to great lengths and with considerable expenditure to establish a 'green ' manufacturing process quite unique in South Africa.

All timber sourced and used in manufacturing our desks and cabinets are sourced from companies that abide by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of our world's forests. Our base board supplier meets and is certified according to the FSC mark.

Our base board is certified category E1-IEQ-14 formaldehyde minimization - applicable manufacturing standard SANS - EN 312-1:1996.
We then convert this board in-house by applying décor paper which is applied utilizing PVA water soluble adhesive (no chemical solvents).

The decorated board is processed through a UV coater machine which applies a 13 gram coat of solid surface coat (no solvent emission) which is then dried under a series of UV lamps.

The end result is a superior product which is scratch resistant and water resistant within the recognized formaldehyde limits as set out by the various Green Codes.

All our desks and accessories are produced with NO VOC. VOC stands for
*volatile organic compounds.

Generally furniture is made of melamine which emits VOC's over a long period of time into the indoor environment.
